First off, I am so grateful you are here! Photography is heart and soul work for me and I am completely honored if you are considering me to capture these memories for your family. I have been a photographer for many years and have been so blessed to know and work with so many amazing families. I consider this work dear to my heart and soul because I am literally capturing stills of your life just as it is. Each of our journeys are filled with so many unknowns and I truly believe the art we create together is something to cherish. Now, a little about me....
I have the most amazing family and I treasure them deeply. God has blessed me tremendously and I owe everything to Him. I met my husband, Nate, when we were 18 years old and for better or worse we have never looked back! Growing our family proved to be difficult and our hearts turned towards adoption after the birth of our first child. We were not prepared for the soul-work that would happen in our lives once our eyes were opened to much of the heartbreak in this world. While adoption is a situation filled with many unknowns and a journey of faith and hope, it was worth every struggle and tear. I am so blessed to be mom to a daughter and son who are both incredible little humans. We don't match on the outside, like my daughter says, instead we match hearts. And just when we thought our family was done growing, a bonus child showed up to make our crazy life a little more spicy. This family is something I never could have envisioned for myself, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
I have always had an interest in photography and how it can capture such emotion and a special moment to be remembered forever. I began taking photos more seriously as a side job to raise funds for my adoptions and my business grew from there. I truly love my clients so much and many of them I consider such dear friends, even if we only get to catch up with each other at our yearly sessions.
